William H. Tucker

Biography

Bill joined Hull Barrett in 1980 and is a senior partner in the Aiken office of the firm. He practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, real estate, and business/corporate law and has extensive experience on wealth transfer issues for individuals and owners of closely held businesses, the administration of decedents’ estates, as well as residential and commercial real estate transactions and small business transfers. (Hull Barrett) His experience includes over 40 years of representation of buyers, sellers, and lenders in thousands of residential real estate closings; commercial real estate closings for new projects, mergers and acquisitions and buyouts; and representation of buyers and sellers of closely held retail and service businesses and professional practices.

He has handled HUD real estate closings for construction of group homes, negotiated contracts and leases, and drafted conservation easements. Additionally, he represents landowners in zoning, condemnation, and development matters, and assists with business startups. His estate planning work involves drafting Wills, Trust Agreements, and Powers of Attorney, and advising on probate matters and tax planning. (Hull Barrett)
